The acting world lost an indomitable figure yesterday with the passing of Gene Wilder. The actor—who'd given gusto to roles in such films as Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and of course, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory—passed away at his home in Stamford, Connecticut, at the age of 83. His mastery of his abilities was evident in each movie he appeared in. He managed to portray an array of personalities in a way that convinced just about every audience, everywhere.
We respect Mr. Wilder for lending his talents for all to enjoy, and may he rest in peace as we honor his contributions to world of entertainment.
As if the excitement couldn't build anymore, Adrian D. Holmes and Skip Wilson Media are preparing to unveil the official cover art of Holmes's upcoming album The Pirates of Penzance: Revamped and Revisited.
One week from today, on Thursday, September 1, 2016, the curtain will drop and the artwork will be revealed to the world for the very first time. No one has laid eyes on it beyond the immediate ADH Team.
Besides creating the actual music, promotion is arguably the most important aspect of any successful album release. That's why with the release of the album cover, we're also launching the promotional campaign for The Pirates as we continue the countdown to December 31st.
Stay tuned for more details.
(Oh, and by the way, the Kaye Ballard interview will go live on Labor Day!)
